Behind the Candidates is an interactive news site that addresses what we feel was lacking in most of the election coverage. While most buzz-worthy news stories focus on the presidential and vice presidential candidates themselves, we were surprised how little resources have been devoted to assessing the major policy advisors, lifelong associates, and would-be cabinet members that make up the McCain and Obama campaigns.
